Exploring Children and Young Peoples’ Views
This session will provide an overview of Maddi and Sarah’s research exploring pupil views on mental health, with a focus on one particular theme from the research, the positive and negative impact school and education can have on pupils’ mental health. Thought will be given to how these experiences might provide insights into the barriers to school attendance that children and young people experience. There will also be thinking around how psychological frameworks can be used to shift thinking and create change in education.
