What is the British Psychological Society (BPS)?
The British Psychology Society (BPS) is an organisation dedicated to promoting excellence in Psychology – a purpose and value we at Psychology Direct fully support and share. A registered charity, the BPS represents UK Psychologists, and states it’s aim as being ‘responsible for the promotion of excellence and ethical practice in the science, education, and application of the discipline’. The BPS is a membership organisation for students and qualified Psychologists including EPs.
The British Psychological Society represents the interests of Psychologists and offers training, professional standards & resources and events for their members. It also provides advice and guidance to members of the public on how to become a Psychologist, finding a Psychologist and a vast range of information about Psychology.
